The New King James Version Is Not The Bible

Modern versions of the Bible are based on faulty Greek texts that have been translated from corrupted manuscripts
that were written centuries ago by men who were not Christians.  These men did not believe in the Trinity. They did not
believe in the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost as our one Almighty God in three Persons.  The men who wrote
these corrupt manuscripts thought that Jesus was just a man who was honored for his goodness.  They believed that
“Christ” was an “entity” that came on Jesus at his baptism and left Jesus at his crucifixion. In their minds, Jesus was to be
honored, but He was not the Almighty God: they did not believe that God became a man and took on a body of flesh
and bones.

Modern versions have used corrupted texts in order to “water-down” the gospel message.  In these “new” versions,
Jesus is not as powerful, not as holy, and is not the King of Kings.  In these “new” versions, man is not so sinful, hell is
not so bad, and the meaning of the new birth is changed to mean “self reformation.”

For years, the true Holy Bible (the Bible of Abraham Lincoln, John Wesley, D. L. Moody, and our great-great
grandparents) was simply called the Holy Bible, but it actually has a specific name: The Holy Bible, Authorized King
James Version (AV1611).  Our beloved Authorized Version was not translated from corrupt texts, and it has no
copyright.  In fact, its words have been freely copied into the masonry on our government buildings in Washington , D.C.
and even on the Liberty Bell.  The Authorized Version (AV) has no contradictions and has stood the test of time.  It is not
outdated, although those who are profiting by selling the modern versions would like you to think so.  The AV exalts
Jesus Christ as God, for He is one of the Trinity.

The “New” King James Version is a counterfeit bible.  It is supposed to be easier to read and is supposed to be
based on the same Greek texts that the New Testament of the King James Bible is based on, but its authors have
followed the corrupt Greek texts in many instances. Note how the footnotes have been based the corrupt texts. Also, the
Old Testament Hebrew of the King James Version has been replaced.  The New King James Version deceives many with
its title.  It is not the word of God.   Some of its errors are listed here.

As you read this paper, please note that AV means the Authorized Version (the King James Version), and NKJV means
the New King James Version.

Old Testament

Gen. 22:8  In the AV Abraham makes this statement to young Isaac: “…God will provide Himself a lamb…”  This was a
prophetic statement spoken almost 2000 years before Jesus’ crucifixion. Abraham was telling his son that God Himself
would become the sacrifice for sins.  Jesus was the Lamb of God (John 1:29, 36), who died for our sins on the cross;
Acts 20:28 tells us that God’s blood was shed.   The NKJV, however, changes the placement of the word “himself” so
that the verse reads: “God himself will provide the lamb...”  The NKJV rendering merely implies that God will provide
Abraham with an offering for that day (referring to the animal caught in the thicket).  This is not the meaning of the
verse, because the animal that is caught in the thicket was a ram, not a lamb (verse 13). The correct meaning is seen in
the AV: that God would provide Himself as the Lamb for an offering for sin on that same mountain 2000 years in
Abraham’s future.  [Not only did God reveal to Abraham the future sacrifice of Messiah and that His future sacrifice
would take place on the very mountain Abraham and Isaac were on (Gen. 22:14), but God also revealed the
resurrection to Abraham (Hebrews 11:17-19)].

Psa. 83:18  The AV says, “That men may know that thou, whose name alone is Jehovah, art the most high over all the
earth.”   Ex. 6:3 says that Jehovah is God Almighty, and Isa. 12:2 says that Jehovah is become my salvation. Since
Jehovah is the Almighty and the most high over all the earth, and since Jesus has a name which is above every name
(Phil 2:9-10), and He is salvation (Luke 2:25-32), then Jesus is the Almighty God. The NKJV seeks to remove any
reference that proves that Jesus is the Almighty God, therefore every “Jehovah” has been omitted from the NKJV.

Isa. 9:6  The AV says, “For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his
shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of
Peace.” Those who know their English grammar know that the statement that follows a colon refers to the statement that
precedes the colon. Therefore the meaning of this verse is that the child that is born is indeed the Almighty God—and at
the same time, He is the Everlasting Father.  This is only possible because God is a Trinity.  The Godhead (the Father,
the Son, and the Holy Ghost) is one God. This verse proves the Trinity, and it proves that Jesus, the Prince of Peace, is
The mighty God.   The NKJV omits the colons in this verse so that it says, “For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is
given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder.  And he will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.” The colon after “shoulder” has been replaced with a period; the absolute proof
that the colon gave is now only implied.  Is the “he” referring to the child?  Bible corruptors who deny the deity of Jesus
and the Trinity would like us to believe that the one who is “Wonderful” and “Mighty God” is the Father alone.  Notice
how the NKJV removes “The” from “The mighty God.”  That little omission is done for a reason.  “The Mighty God”
indicates one God.  “Mighty God” does not indicate any such limit.

Isaiah 14:12 The AV says, “How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the
ground, which didst weaken the nations!”  This is the only verse in the Bible that names Lucifer.  Not only have the
newer bible versions eliminated the name of Lucifer, they have replaced it with “morning star” or “star of the morning.”
Only Jesus is the morning star.  Satan is not the morning star.  The word "star" does not appear in the Hebrew. While
the NKJV keeps the name “Lucifer” in the text, the NKJV footnote suggests that the literal meaning for Lucifer is “Day
Star.” That is not true, since the word “star” does not appear in the Hebrew.  Jesus, not Lucifer, is the day star.  Apostle
Peter refers to Jesus as the “day star” in II Peter 1:19, which says, “We have also a more sure word of prophecy;
whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star
arise in your hearts…” Peter is not referring to Satan arising in your hearts!  He is referring to Jesus.  The NKJV
replaces “day star” with “morning star” in II Peter 1:19.

Daniel 3:25 The AV says that the one who was protecting the three Israelites when they were thrown in the fiery furnace
was “like the Son of God,” a clear reference to Jesus as God in the Old Testament.  The NKJV footnote says that it
should be translated “a son of the gods.”

New Testament

Mt. 1:25  The NKJV footnote suggests that “firstborn” should be omitted.  Jesus was Mary’s firstborn child. The NKJV
footnote also suggests that the phrase “ye devour widows’ houses and for a pretense make long prayers” (Matt. 23:14)
should be omitted.

Mt. 8:2  The NKJV omits worship of Jesus 2 out of 11 places in the Gospels (Matt. 18:26; 20:20).

Mt. 8:19  Regarding Jesus, the NKJV changes the AV’s “Master” to “teacher” 47 out of 56 times.  The Greek for “Rabbi”
means “Master,” not “Teacher” (John 1:38; Mt. 23:8).  “Master” implies lordship and control, so therefore the Bible
corruptors removed it.

Mt. 9:2  The NKJV denies in this verse that Jesus Himself forgives sin; by changing words, the NKJV states that Jesus
only affirms that someone’s sins are already forgiven.

Mt. 9:13  In the Authorized Version (AV) Jesus says, “I am not come to call the righteous but sinners to repentance.”
The NKJV footnote suggests that “to repentance” should be omitted.  However, a man cannot be saved without
repentance (Acts 20:21).

Mt. 16:18  The NKJV says “Hades” instead of “hell” in this and other verses (Hades is mythological; Hell actually exists).

Mt. 17:21  The NKJV footnote suggests that “prayer and fasting” should be omitted.

Mt. 18:11  The NKJV footnote suggests that the entire verse (“the Son of man is come to save that which is lost.”) should
be omitted.

Mt. 27: 24  The NKJV footnote suggests that the word “just”  (which is describing Jesus) should be omitted.

Mt. 27:35  The AV says  “And they crucified him, and parted his garments, casting lots: that it might be fulfilled which was
spoken by the prophet, They parted my garments among them, and upon my vesture did they cast lots.”  The NKJV
footnote suggests that the words “that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, They parted my garments
among them, and upon my vesture did they cast lots” should be omitted, but those words should not be omitted,
because they show how the Old Testament prophecies of Messiah were fulfilled in Jesus Christ.

Matt 28:20  says, “Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway,
even unto the end of the world. Amen.”  The NKJV replaced “world” with “age.” New Age teachings have crept into the
modern versions of the Bible. These changes promote the idea that there are many ages with many Christs and that
Jesus is the Christ appointed for this age. See also Gal 1:4 and other verses where “world” is changed to “age;” the
Bible corruptors believe that the world will not end, but another age will dawn. See where “from the beginning” is
replaced with “for ages past” in Eph. 3:9.)

Mark 6:52  The AV correctly states, “For they considered not the miracle of the loaves: for their heart was hardened.”
The NKJV removed the word “miracle” from the verse. See also, John 2:11 where the word “miracles” is replaced with
“signs.”  A sign is not a miracle!!  We can tell you that there is a “sign” of rain, but that is not the same as a miracle.
There are certain signs that go along with diseases---but they are not miracles.  The aim of the modern versions is to
question the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ. Please check out these other verses in your bible.  These are the places in
the gospels in the King James Bible of 1611 where “miracles” are attributed to Jesus:  John 2:23; John 3:2; John 4:54;
John 6:2; John 6:14; John 6:26; John 7:31; John 9:16; John 11:47; John 12:18; John 12:37.  The NKJV has removed
them all.

Mark 15:27-28   The AV says, “27 And with him they crucify two thieves; the one on his right hand, and the other on his
left. 28 And the scripture was fulfilled, which saith, And he was numbered with the transgressors.”  The NKJV footnote
suggests that the entire verse 28 should be omitted, but that verse is given to show that Jesus fulfilled the Old
Testament prophecies concerning the Messiah.

Luke 2:33  The AV correctly states, “And Joseph and his mother...” but the NKJV footnote suggests the words should
read,  “The child’s father and mother…”  Joseph is NOT Jesus’ father.   This verse was changed to cast doubt on the
virgin birth of Christ.  In verse 48 of the same chapter, Mary, who was upset because she didn’t know Jesus’
whereabouts, found him in the temple of God and blurted out, “Thy father and I have sought thee sorrowing.”  Without
thinking, Mary had referred to Joseph as Jesus’ father, but Jesus gently rebuked her in verse 49: “Wist ye not that I must
be about my Father’s business?” [God was Jesus’ Father, and Jesus was in the temple doing His Father’s business.
(Joseph’s business was that of a carpenter.)]

Luke 4:4  The AV says, “…man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God.” The NKJV footnote suggests
that the phrase, “every word of God,” should be omitted. The NKJV translators do not think you need every word of God
so they omitted over 20,066 words from the Bible.

Luke 23:38  The AV says, “ And a superscription also was written over him in letters of Greek, and Latin, and Hebrew,
THIS IS THE KING OF THE JEWS.” The NKJV footnote suggests that “written in Greek, and Latin, and Hebrew” should
be omitted.  However, those words explain why three of the gospels record the message of the sign differently.  The
Bible corruptors do not want us to have an explanation for the differences in the Gospels:  the corruptors want people to
think that the Bible is contradictory.

Luke 23:42  In the AV the thief on the cross says to Jesus, “Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom.”  In
the NKJV, the footnote suggests that the thief on the cross did not call Jesus “Lord.” The Bible corruptors believed that
when Jesus hung on the cross he was no longer indwelt by the Christ entity and therefore was no longer the Lord.

John 1:3  Regarding Jesus the Creator, the AV says, “All things were made by him…” (which leaves no doubt that Jesus
directly created all things). The NKJV changes the verse to read: “Through him all things were made…”

John 1:26-30  Although John the Baptist was born 6 months before Jesus, John says of Jesus in the AV in verse 30,
“…he was before me.”  Jesus existed as the eternal God before John was conceived. Also, John the Baptist says of
Jesus in verses 15, 27, and 30 “…he is preferred before me…;”   Jesus was preferred before John, not because He
worked to be a better person than John, but because He is God. The NKJV footnote suggests the phrase “preferred
before me” should be replaced with “ranks higher than I.”  There is no such thing as the “rank system” regarding who
Jesus was. He was always God and did not work His way up through a “new age” hierarchy to become God.  Jesus and
John were never equal.  Jesus did not surpass John.  The truth is that Jesus was always above John, because Jesus is
the eternal God.

John 3:13  The AV says, “And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son
of man which is in heaven.” Jesus spoke these words while He was on the earth; notice that while He is on the earth, He
says that He is in heaven.  Jesus is everywhere at the same time (He is omnipresent}---only God has that attribute. The
NKJV footnotes suggests the phrase “which is in heaven” should be omitted.

John 3:15  The AV says, “That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.” The NKJV footnote
suggests that “should not perish” should be omitted. Bible corruptors are slowly changing verses that are intolerant of
other religions. In their minds no one will perish eternally, no matter what that person believes.

John 6:47  The AV says, “ Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life.”   The NKJV says
“… he who believes in Me has everlasting life.”  The main problem is with the NKJV footnote which suggests that “in me”
should be omitted.  Without the words “in me” the text would then read “He who believes has everlasting life,” which
implies that if one believes anything, he will have everlasting life.  The truth is that one must believe on JESUS to have
everlasting life.

John 6:62   “Man” is capitalized in the NKJV.   We see that the NKJV gives man more honor than he deserves and gives
Jesus less honor than He deserves.

John 14:23  The AV says, “Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words:”  The NKJV
changes “words” to “word’.  Yes, we should keep the “word” of God, but we are to also keep the “words” of God---every
one of them.

John 17:5  In the AV Jesus says to the Father, “…glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory I had with thee before
the world was.” The NKJV footnote suggests that “with thine own self” should be read “alongside your Yourself.”  [The
Bible corruptors don’t mind if Jesus is glorified in God’s presence, but they refuse to have Jesus share God’s glory for
that would prove Jesus is God (See Isa. 42:8 which says that God will not share his glory with another; since Jesus
shared God’s glory before the world was, Jesus is God.  This is possible because God is a Trinity.)]

Acts 4:27,30  The NKJV changes the AV’s “holy child” to “holy servant.” There is a reason for this change:  if Jesus was
holy as a child, it would prove wrong those who believe that Jesus was just a human until His baptism when the Christ
entity indwelt him.

Acts 20:28  In the AV the Apostle Paul says that the Ephesian pastors should “feed the church of God which he hath
purchased with his own blood.” It was the blood of God that was shed on the cross of Calvary . However, in the NKJV a
footnote suggests that the verse should say “the church of the Lord and God which he hath purchased with his own
blood.”  By adding the words “of the Lord” some people could misinterpret the blood as being that of Jesus the Lord, but
not of God.

Rom. 5:18  The NKJV changes the AV's “the righteousness of one” (referring to Jesus) to “one righteous act.”   The
Bible corruptors would like people to think that justification has come on men because of one righteous act of Jesus,
when in fact, Jesus is the righteousness of God.   Justification has come on men not only because of what Jesus did on
the cross, but also because of who Jesus is: He is the righteousness of God (Romans 10:3-4).  Jesus was no mere man
who died in our place; He is  God.  Those who have been justified know that God took their sins on the cross and that
He gave them His righteousness (II Cor. 5:21).

Rom. 14:9-11  The AV says “…for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ.  For it is written, As I live saith
the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God.  So then every one of us shall give an
account of himself to God.” These verses state that to stand before Christ‘s judgment seat is to stand before God.  In
verse 10 the NKJV footnote suggests that the verse should not say “judgment seat of Christ” but may say “God’s
judgment seat.”  That suggestion would remove the words that prove the deity of Christ in these verses.

I Cor. 1:18  The AV says, “…unto us which are saved…” The NKJV changes it to: “…to us who are being saved..."   The
verb tense has been changed to promote the false belief that salvation is a process.

II Cor. 2:10  The AV says “person of Christ” but the NKJV changes it to “presence of Christ”; the NKJV promotes the
belief that Christ is only a spirit, not a person.

II Cor. 2:17  There were Bible corruptors living and active in the days of the Apostle Paul. The AV says in II Cor. 2:17,
(Paul speaking) “For we are not as many, which corrupt the word of God…”  Paul was aware that false teachers who
hated Jesus Christ were already making their false copies of God’s Word. The Bible corruptors are still with us today,
and they had to change this verse because it condemns them.  The NKJV changes “corrupt” to “peddling.”

II Cor. 4:14  The AV says, “…shall raise us up also by Jesus…” The NKJV changes it to say “…will also raise us up with
Jesus…” The Bible corruptors can’t have you thinking that Jesus has the power to raise us from the dead; they don’t
mind if we get raised with Jesus, but they don’t want us to be raised by Jesus.

II Cor. 10:5  The Authorized Version says that we should be “casting down imaginations;” but the NKJV says that we
should be “casting down arguments.”  The vile imaginations of men are far worse than arguments.

Gal. 5:4  The AV says, “Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law;”   The NKJV
says, “You have become estranged from Christ, you who attempt to be justified by law;”  The NKJV rendering implies the
person once had Christ but left Christ.  That implies one can lose his salvation, which is not true.

Eph. 3:9  The AV says, “And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the
world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ.” The NKJV footnote suggests that “who created all
things by Jesus Christ” should be admitted.

Eph. 5:1  The AV says, “Be ye therefore followers of God…”  The NKJV says “Be imitators of God…” It is impossible for
people to imitate God; they can only follow Him.

Eph. 5:20  The AV says,  “…unto God and the Father...” The NKJV omits the “and” in the phrase. There is a reason for
this: the skeptics who do not believe in Jesus’ deity would point to II Tim 4:1 in the AV that says “God and the Lord Jesus
Christ” in order to promote their belief that Jesus is separate from God. In response, true believers can show the
skeptics many verses in the AV such as Eph. 5:20 which say “God and the Father.”  The Bible corruptors have therefore
endeavored to eliminate this response from true believers by rearranging the words in verses in the NKJV which apply
(See:  Col. 1:3; Col. 2:2; Col 3:17; Gal. 1:4; I Thess. 1:3; I Thess. 3:11; James 1:27; Rev. 1:6).

Phil 2:6   Regarding Jesus, the AV says, “Who being in the form of God thought it not robbery to be equal with God.”
The first edition of the NKJV New Testament in 1979 changed that verse to read:  “who, being in the form of God, did not
consider equality with God something to be grasped.” After the NKJV was criticized for such an outright attack against
the deity of Jesus Christ, futures editions of the NKJV didn’t have the same words.

Phil 3:16  The NKJV footnote suggests that “rule” and “let us mind the same thing” should be omitted. Words that urge
Christians to think like the Apostle Paul and other godly leaders have been omitted in numerous places in the modern
versions.

Phil. 4:13  The AV says, “I can do all things through Christ…” The NKJV footnote suggests that “Christ” should be
replaced with “Him.” Such a replacement would allow anyone of any faith (Buddhists, Hindus, etc.) to get comfort from
the verse and not have to say “Christ.”

Col. 3:2  The AV says, “Set your affection on things above…” The NKJV says, “Set your minds on things above…”
(“Affections” are not the same as “minds.”)

I Thess 5:22 says, “Abstain from all appearance of evil.”  That means that even is something is not evil, but appears to
be evil, we should abstain from it.  However, the NKJV says, “Abstain from every form of evil.”   The command to avoid
“the appearance” of evil has been removed.

I Tim. 3:16  This verse in the AV proves that Jesus is God who came to earth in the flesh.  The AV says, “And without
controversy great is the mystery of godliness:  God was manifest in the flesh…preached unto the Gentiles, believed on
in the world, received up into glory.”  The NKJV footnote suggests that “God” should be replaced with “Who.”  That
would be another attack on the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ and would be another attempt to cover the truth that Jesus
is God.

II Tim. 2:15  The AV says, “Study to shew thyself approved unto God…”  The NKJV says, “Be diligent to present yourself
to God…”  The Bible corruptors removed the word “study;” they do not want you to study the Bible---- if you study, you
may find out how they have changed the truth of God into a lie.

Titus 3:10-11  In this verse the AV says that we should reject an heretick (a person who holds religious opinions
contrary to the Scriptures).  The Bible corruptors are hereticks because they do not hold to the fundamental truths of
the Bible, one of which is the doctrine of the Trinity which is God in three Persons: the Father, the Son and the Holy
Spirit. The Bible corruptors changed the words in this verse.  The NKJV replaces “heretick” with “divisive man.”  A
divisive man is a man who divides people. Often Jesus divided the people as He preached the truth to the false religious
leaders.  According to the NKJV (verse 11) people that are “divisive” are warped and sinning.  Jesus was neither warped
nor did He sin.

Philemon 4  The NKJV has removed every “thee” “thou” and “ye” from its pages and replaced them with the pronoun
“you.”   It may surprise some folks to know that the AV (King James Bible) also uses the pronoun “you” 2,613 times.  If
the King James Bible translators were familiar with the pronoun “you,” then why did they more often use “thee” and “ye”?
Answer: They used pronouns such as “thee” and “ye” for the sake of accuracy. For example:  When the pronoun “thee”
or “thou” or “thy” is used, it is singular and refers to one person.  When the pronoun “ye” is used, it is plural and refers
to more than one person. There were many times when the pronoun “you” would have been less accurate, so it was not
used in those instances.  The Apostle Paul wrote his epistle (letter) primarily to Philemon, but it was written as well to
Apphia and Archippus and the other people who attended the church in his house.  When Paul addressed Philemon
alone, the pronoun “thee” “thy” and “thou” were used, but when Paul addressed the other people, the pronoun “you”
was used.  Therefore, we can know that Paul was speaking to Philemon alone in verses 4 through 21, because of the
pronouns used.  Correct interpretation of the Scripture is not always possible when the “ye’s” and “thee’s” are deleted.
The New King James Version and other modern versions have removed those much needed pronouns.

Heb. 1:3  The AV says, “…when he had by himself purged our sins…”  Jesus alone purged our sins by Himself without
help from sinful man.  This verse proves that there is no need for “purgatory” or any other payment for sins. The NKJV
footnote suggests that the words “by Himself” should be omitted.  Such an omission will certainly please those churches
that believe sins are purged through the use of holy water, purgatory, etc.

Heb 2:16  The AV says (speaking of Christ), “For verily he took not on him the nature of angels; but he took on him the
seed of Abraham.  This is a verse that tells us that Christ came in the flesh, but the NKJV verse completely removes that
wonderful truth. Here is the verse in the NKJV: “For indeed He does not give aid to angels, but He does give aid to the
seed of Abraham.”

Heb. 9:12  The AV says that Jesus “obtained eternal redemption for us.” The NKJV omits the phrase “for us.”
Therefore, the NKJV scripture indicates that Jesus redeemed only himself. (Jesus did not have to be redeemed.)  The
footnotes in the NKJV for I Cor. 5:7 and I Peter 4:1 also suggest that the phrase “for us” should be omitted.

Heb. 10:14  The AV says, “…he hath perfected forever them that are sanctified.”  The NKJV says, “…he has made
perfect forever those who are being sanctified.”  The wrong verb tense is used in several verses of the NKJV to indicate
that salvation is a process.  See also I Cor. 1:18 where the verb tense is again changed to indicate that salvation is a
process (the AV says, “unto us which are saved” but the NKJV says, “to us who are being saved").

II Peter 1:21  The NKJV footnote suggests that “holy” should be omitted when describing the writers of the Old
Testament.

II Peter 2:17  The  AV says, “…to whom the mist of darkness is reserved for ever.” The NKJV footnote suggests that “for
ever” should be omitted.  The Bible corruptors want to avoid the truth of eternal punishment.

I John 2:8  The AV says “…the darkness is past...”  The NKJV says “…the darkness is passing away…” which indicates
salvation is a process instead of a miracle of God that occurs in a moment.  The new birth is accomplished in a
moment— the spiritually dead is quickened and given new life in Christ the moment he repents and believes.  Some
Bible corruptors would have you believe that salvation is accomplished through years of good works and self-
reformation.   See also Heb. 10:14 and I Cor. 1:18.

I John 3:16  The AV says,  “Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us…”  The NKJV says,
“By this we know love, because He laid down His life for us.”  The AV tells us that God laid down his life, thus proving
that Jesus is God. (The Bible corruptors changed the verse so that Jesus Christ is not exalted as God.)

I John 4:3   The AV says, “Every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God.”  The
phrase “come in the flesh” is in verse 2 and verse 3 of the AV, but according to the NKJV footnote, the phrase should be
omitted in verse 3. The Bible corruptors want to eventually omit all the verses that say that God came to this earth in the
flesh.)

Rev. 1:8, 11, 13-18 (all verses together). The AV says in verses 17 and 18 (Jesus is speaking): “…Fear not, I am the
first and the last: I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore…”  And verse 11 says that “the
first and the last” is called “the Alpha and Omega.”  And verse 8 says that the “Alpha and Omega” is called “the
Almighty.” Therefore, Jesus is the Almighty God.  The NKJV footnote suggests that the names “Alpha and Omega” and
“the first and last” should be omitted from verse 11 so that Jesus will not be seen as the Almighty God in that chapter.
(Also note how the NKJV footnote suggests that “the beginning and the ending” should be omitted from Rev. 1:8.) For
further proof that “the first and the last” is the Almighty God (the beginning and the ending) see Rev. 22:13.

Rev. 13:16  The AV says, “a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads…”  The NKJV says, “a mark on their right
hand or on their foreheads…”  The Bible corruptors violate the laws of grammar and interchange prepositions as it suits
them in order to change the meaning of verses.  The mark is to be in the forehead (as an implanted chip perhaps).

Rev 19:8  The AV says (speaking of the bride of Christ), “And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine
linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints.”  The righteousness of the saints is a free gift
given to them by God (Rom. 5:17-18; I Cor. 5:21; Rom 6:23).  Ephesians 2:8,9 says, “For by grace are ye saved
through faith and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God, not of works, lest any man should boast.”  Yet, the NKJV
has changed Rev 19:8 to say that it is the righteous acts of the saints that have supplied their fine linen (a symbol of
their purity):  “And to her it was granted to be arrayed in fine linen, clean and bright, for the fine linen is the righteous
acts of the saints.”  This verse and others in the NKJV contradict the doctrine of salvation by grace, and lead people to
think that salvation is by good works.

Rev. 20:12  Regarding the great day of judgment, the AV says, “I saw the small and great, stand before God…” The
NKJV footnote suggests it should read: “I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne…” Why would the
Bible corruptors want the reader to think that “God” should be changed to “the throne?”  Because the true Scriptures
teach that Jesus Christ shall judge the quick and the dead (John 5:22; Acts 10:42; Rom 14:9-12).  Since God is on the
throne to judge, that proves that Jesus is God.  The Bible corruptors are changing verses in the modern bibles so that
Jesus will not be exalted as God.

Rev. 21:24  Regarding the holy city:  the AV says, “And the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of
it…” The NKJV footnote suggests that the verse should be read without the words “of them which are saved,’’ but that
would promote the belief that everyone goes to heaven, which is a belief contrary to the Word of God.
